The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor measures and continuously stores glucose readings day and night. The sensor updates the glucose result every minute and stores up to 8 hours of glucose readings, in 15-minute intervals. Can be worn for up to 14 days.

NOTE: FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors ONLY work with the FreeStyle Libre 2 app. * For current FreeStyle Libre users, it is important to note that the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor is not compatible with the FreeStyle Libre reader.

The FreeStyle Libre 2 flash glucose monitoring system is indicated for measuring interstitial fluid glucose levels in children aged 4 years and older and adults with diabetes mellitus. Always read and follow the label/insert.

The FreeStyle Libre 2 system has not been evaluated for use with other implanted medical devices such as pacemakers. It has also not been evaluated for use in pregnant women, or persons on dialysis.

All prescriptions directly billed by Bayshore Specialty Rx Ltd. to private insurance plans are subject to pharmacy dispensing and associated fees.

* A finger prick test using a blood glucose meter is required during times of rapidly changing glucose levels when interstitial fluid glucose levels may not accurately reflect blood glucose levels or if hypoglycemia or impending hypoglycemia is reported by the FreeStyle Libre 2 app or when symptoms do not match the app readings. The FreeStyle Libre 2 app is only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems.
